Angie Wong
London PET/CT Centre Superintendent
Angie originates from Hong Kong. She gained her Bachelor of Applied Sciences (Nuclear Medicine)from the University of Sydney.
Angie started her career as MRI technician for animals in a veterinary hospital in Hong Kong.
She used to work in the Hong Kong Baptist Hospital which is one of the busiest private hospitals in Hong Kong. She has over 5 years experience in PET/CT imaging and has done over 4500 PET/CT studies.
Angie started with InHealth in November 2008 as a mobile PET/CT technologist. She joined the London PET/CT Centre in June 2009 and now acts as RPS and the lead technologist.
Deanna Murray
Nuclear Medicine Technologist (RPS)
Deanna graduated in 1992 with a Diploma in Nuclear Medicine from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. She then worked at St Joseph’s Health Centre in Toronto until December 1995, moving to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist until mid 1998.
Deanna completed her Bachelor of Science in Biology and moved to England in 1999, working at the Royal Surrey County Hospital until 2004 as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
She joined Lodestone Patient Care in April 2004, working in PET/CT, then moving to Lead of the Department. She joined InHealth in August 2007 and currently works on mobile units as well as fixed sites.
Jennifer Emmott
Radiographer
Jennifer studied radiography at University College Salford from 1988 - 1991, qualifying with the Diploma of College of Radiographers. She then worked as a radiographer for one year at the Royal Oldham General Hospital where she had undertaken her clinical experience.
In 1992, she moved to Stoke Mandeville Hospital in Aylesbury, famous for its National Spinal Injuries Unit. There she gained experience in all types of radiography including CT, MRI and Nuclear Medicine. She also completed several management courses, including the Certificate of Management. After six years, she moved to the Paul Strickland Scanner Centre (PSSC), at Mount Vernon Hospital in Rickmansworth. As a middle radiography manager, she taught and performed scans in CT, MRI and PET and PET/CT. PSSC is famous for its research work, and she was involved in both national and local research programmes as well as clinical work. During her time at PSSC, she was given the opportunity to do a MSc (Diagnostic Imaging), completing it in 2004, passing with merit.
In 2007, after gaining substantial experience in cross sectional imaging, research, and also management and leaving as a junior Superintendent in PET/CT, she joined InHealth. As a Lead Mobile Radiographer, she travels to hospital sites from Plymouth to Leicester, as well as working at static sites such as London PET/CT.
Theresa Benjamin
Reception/Office Manager
Theresa joined London PET/CT Centre in November 2006 as the Receptionist/Office Manager. She was previously a Medical Research Secretary for the Imperial Cancer Research Fund at Guy’s Hospital, followed by a Medical Secretary and Unit Co-ordinator at the London Imaging Centre.
