Payment information
If you are not having a scan through the NHS, there are two ways of covering the cost of your test. Firstly, it may be covered by private medical insurance or you may choose to pay for the test yourself..
By private medical insurance
If you have private medical insurance and wish to use it for your scan, you will need to contact your insurer to check that they will cover the cost of the test. We will also need a form of guarantee from your insurer. Please bring along the pre authorisation number as well as your policy number. If for any reason the third party fails to settle the account in full, you will be liable for the balance.
Paying for your test yourself
You can pay for the test yourself on the day. Credit cards are accepted but we do not accept American Express.
