The next step
Once your GP or referring clinician refers you for a PET/CT scan, you will need to contact the London PET/CT Centre to arrange your appointment. You will then receive a letter confirming the details of your appointment and including directions to the Centre. An information leaflet about your scan will be included.
The results of your scan will be sent directly to your GP or referring clinician two working days after your appointment. Please allow as much time as possible before contacting your surgery to confirm what happens next.
